Philip Dimmitt’s flag, raised at Goliad on December 20, 1835, when the garrison signed the Goliad Declaration of Independence. A severed arm grips a bloody sword on white cotton, drawn as the flag is known today.
The original is lost. It is drawn here from the written accounts, and what they leave out is our reconstruction.
The flag printed edge to edge on a knit polyester wall flag nearly five feet wide, with two grommets for hanging. Printed on one side. Printed to order.
