Sarah Dodson made this flag at Harrisburg in 1835 for her husband’s company: three squares of cotton, blue with a white star, then white, then red. It went with them to Gonzales, Concepción, and the siege of Bexar.
The original is lost. It is drawn here from the written accounts, and what they leave out is our reconstruction.
The flag printed edge to edge on a knit polyester wall flag nearly five feet wide, with two grommets for hanging. Printed on one side. Printed to order.
