The official store of the Texas Nationalist Movement.
Raised at Gonzales on October 2, 1835, over the cannon a Mexican detachment had come to take back. The first shots of the Texas Revolution were fired under it. Drawn after Noah Smithwick’s account: a black cannon on white cotton, a lone star above it, and COME AND TAKE IT below.
The original is lost. It is drawn here from the written accounts, and what they leave out is our reconstruction.
A 12 by 18 inch outdoor banner, taller than wide, printed on both sides, with a rod pocket at the top for a pole or a dowel. Pole not included. Printed to order.
